SUMMARY:Aviation Club UK - YAP Summer Reception
DESCRIPTION:Recognising that younger\, up-coming industry professionals might not yet be able to attend the Club lunches or commit to annual membership\, the Aviation Club UK tailored a programme specifically for younger industry colleagues and students aged between 20 and 35 years.  The Aviation Club UK’s Young Aviation Professionals’ group launched in May 2018 and has subsequently grown to a network of over 350 individuals. \nThe YAP Events programme is open to anyone engaged in or interested in entering the aerospace industry and Club members are invited to encourage their younger colleagues and contacts to participate.  The group is free to join\, provided you meet the above criteria\, with a nominal ticket cost for each event. \nThe current programme comprises four evening networking Receptions\, held quarterly.  Typically each event runs from approximately 6:00 – 8:00pm with an average attendance of 65\, held at a central London venue either provided by a member company or identified by the Club.  The events are always relaxed with the objective of networking amongst peers\, team building and forging new connections.  Some events will host speakers who will briefly address topical industry subjects through discussion or panel debate whilst others will be networking Receptions. \nThe YAP Events programme is open to Aviation Club members and non-members.  Tickets cost just £25 per person and offer a great way to meet with existing colleagues and connect with new industry contacts. \nThe YAP Events programme serves as an introduction to the Aviation Club UK and offers a stepping stone to full membership\, although this is of course optional. \nIf you would like to join the mailing list to receive current news on YAP events and activities please email philippa@aviationclub.org.uk and join our linked in group HERE
