SUMMARY:VFS - Heli Japan 2026 and 12th Asian Australian Rotorcraft Forum (ARF)
DESCRIPTION:Heli Japan was established by the Japan Chapter of Vertical Flight Society (VFS). The first conference was held in Gifu in 1998\, and it has since been held every four years in Utsunomiya\, Nagoya\, Omiya\, and Kanazawa. The Asian/Australian Rotorcraft Forum (ARF) was established by Japan\, South Korea\, China\, Australia\, India\, Singapore\, and Turkey in 2012\, and rotates annually between these countries since. The ARF series has completed one rotation and Japan is the last country of the second round. In 2026\, these two conferences will be held together in Gifu\, Japan. Gifu is home to the aeronautical industry in Japan. It also has a long traditional history\, and is renowned for being the hometown to Nobunaga Oda\, the first “Great Unifier” in the Sengoku Period (1467-1603) in Japan.
